A Running Shot II by John P. Cowan ~ "When reproduced as a limited edition print, the buck in A Running Shot was almost a modest 'locker' size. After the owner of this painting bagged an exceptional Boone and Crockett trophy, he asked if I would change the buck in his painting to match his 'monster.'We stewed over it a couple of days, and I agreed to try to rework the center areas of the painting, provided that if laid an egg, the owner would eat it. Thank goodness, nobody had to eat anything! I think it made a better painting, which proves that women don't have an exclusive on changing their minds." - John P. Cowan
