Through the Flames by Paco Young ~ During the summer of 1998, Florida experienced one of the worst fire seasons on record: - 2,200 wildfires burned 500,000 acres - 126 homes and 25 businesses were destroyed - 70,000 citizens (including an entire country) were evacuated. More than 10,000 firefighters from the 50 states answered the call to combat the destruction. Paco Young commemorates their bravery with his dramatic work of art, Through the Flames --a moving tribute to the courage of all firefighters everywhere. A portion of the proceeds from print sales will benefit The Florida Forestry Arson Alert Association. The canvas edition is signed by the artist and co-signed by The Honorable Jeb Bush, Governor of the State of Florida, and Florida commissioner of Agriculture, Bob Crawford |
