Common Ground by Dave Barnhouse ~ The name of this farm, "Lazy Day", perfectly describes the painting's mood.  As evening settles in, granddad and grandson lean easily on their tractors.  Perhaps, we imagine, they discuss the relative merits of a Farmall and a John Deere.  "The older man is retired," the artist comments, "but his love a with tractors continues.  He often spends his day tinkering with it and takes special pride in encouraging his young friend."
