Bryce National Park by Thomas Kinkade
Bryce National Park by Thomas Kinkade ~ Southwest Series, Published January, 2004 - When the Kinkade family set out to discover the American Southwest, we did it in style - in an oversized RV equipped to be a rolling art studio. We camped (quite comfortably, I'm somewhat ashamed to admit!) throughout the region, hiking and exploring some of God's grandest scenery. As a painter, I was struck by quality of light in the Southwest, the stunning clarity of the desert air.

At Bryce National Park in Utah, God works on a monumental scale - the vast panorama of eroded rock stretches to the horizons. Yet He also displays the infinite precision of a master jeweler, carving the rainbow-hued shale and sandstone into an intricate fantasy land of arches and spires using only the "chisels" of wind and water.
We visited Bryce Canyon in late spring, when patches of snow still nestle on the shadowed high places. Hardy pine trees cling to the nooks and walls of the fantastic cliffs, creating a unique wonderland. Bryce National Park presented a spectacular succession of dramatic vistas - one grander than the other.
While Nanette and the girls eagerly hiked the cliff trails at Bryce, I set up my easel before this stunning spectacle, and painted in awe while the sun painted the banded rock in hues of rose and gold. - Thomas Kinkade
Key Points
1. BRYCE NATIONAL PARK, the 2nd release in the Southwest Series, is an indelible memory of Thom’s, captured to paint.
2. The vast panorama of intricate, wind-carved formation astonished and enthralls all who visit Bryce National Park in Utah.
Distinguished framing, specifically selected to complement the Plein Air style of painting, is part of this special launch of never before seen Plein Air canvases. Of course, if you prefer to choose your own frame, an unframed version is always available.
