Yawkey Way by Thomas Kinkade ~ I arrived at Fenway Park for th elegendary seventh game of the American League Championship Series hours befre the start of the game. I wanted to savor the festive Feway experience, which starts hours before the first pitch. Little did I know that the festivities would continue for several weeks to come as the Boston Red Sox went on to wine the 2007 World Series.
I set up my easel on the famous Yawkey Way, where a statue of the legendary Ted Williams greets Boston Red Sox™ fans getting a head start on game day festivities. Colorful booths selling t-shirts and memorabilia, banners strung across the street, and raucous taverns, establish a carnival atmosphere.
