Bedrolls and Dreams
Artist G. Harvey paints the Iconic American Cowboy, who changed the American landscape by developing the west in so many different ways. G. Harvey's oil field scenes are his most collected images and here we see a beauty, partly cloudy day in the oil patch for these cowboys. Payday usually meant a chance to go to town for more supplies or to wind down from a very rigorous work day. The oil industry and the standard wooden derricks attributed to it are rising majestically above the West Texas prairie.
